Report of Programme conducted on 21st January 2021

Dr. Sulbha Patil, Head of Department, Guidance Counselling and Placement Cell, GE Society’s College of Education, Sangamner has organized lecture of Prof. Samta Shinde, Pune; on date 21/1/21 for Academic Year 2020-21. The topic of this lecture was student education and mental health. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, this lecture was conducted virtually on zoom meeting. During the session, way of working, way of thinking, stress management, good habits for a successful life, awareness about surrounding conditions and decision making based on these aspect, etc topics were discussed. Furthermore, while working as a Teacher, how should be a teacher’s personality, how should be relationship between teachers and students, expectations of parents from children’s and related topics were addressed.  Lastly, Dr. Sulbha Patil conclude the session with vote of thanks on behalf of the institution.   Dr. Sulbha Patil, Head of Department, Guidance Counselling and Placement Cell, GE Society’s College of Education, Sangamner has organized a lecture of Mr. Kabir Patil, Pune; on date 21/1/21 for Academic Year 2020-21. The topic of this lecture was Personality Development. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, this lecture was conducted virtually via zoom meeting. During the session, Mr. Kabir Patil covered different aspects of Personality Development. He focused on providing guidance on the importance of personality development from the point of view of a Teacher who throughout his career is responsible for building the career and character of hundreds of fellow students. He covered different aspects of personality development such as body language, communication skills which comprise of both listening and speaking skills, formal interaction skills, professional ethics and manners, how your dressing affects your personality, what is importance of appearance in Personality building, etc. As a lot had changed during the COVID-19 Pandemic and most of the institutions shifted on virtual mode for teaching, Mr. Kabir also covered the important aspects of effective virtual teaching and communication, techniques of online engagement with students etc. The session was successfully conducted and concluded with guidance of Dr. Sandhya Khedekar, Principal, GE Society’s College of Education, Sangamner.
